How does does the IPL Photo Facial work?

IPL or intense pulsed light, delivers a specific amount of light output to treat various skin conditions. Without damaging the skin, the light penetrates the sub-surface skin layers and is absorbed by the blood vessels or by pigmentation. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will stimulate your skin cells to regenerate new collagen which in turn fades age spots, improves fine lines and wrinkles, shrinks large pores and lifts tired looking skin. This process will restore your skin to its natural beauty, blending its natural colors and making it smoother, vibrant and younger looking.

A series of microdermabrasions or chemical peels prior to the laser treatment will result in better stimulation of the collagen and elastin fibers. New collagen growth will continue for four to six months post treatment.
